MOFTEC announced on
Jan.31, 2003 the temporary rules about the setup of
Chinese-foreign joint ventures specialized in foreign trade,
in order to improve the practices of the opening policy and
the development of China's foreign
trade.
The temporary
rules about the setup of Chinese-foreign joint ventures
specialized in foreign trade will take effect 30 days after
the announcement, and
will be applicable to all
Chinese-foreign joint ventures specialized in foreign trade,
which are jointly set up by foreign and Chinese investors
inside China and are specialized in foreign trade activities.
